- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with FAR PART 13. No RFQ will be made available for distribution. The government intends to award, on a Sole Source basis an order for services to ACS Image Solutions for the following: 1. Document Scanning (300 DPI) page enhancement included, qty: 750,000 each; 2. Document Preparation Labor, qty: 625 hrs; Indexing Manual Data Entry, qty: 85,000 each; 3. CD Rom original creation (masters), qty: 60 each; 4. CD Rom duplicates, qty: 60 each; and conversion from Zyimage format to application extender format, qty: 100 each. This requirement is for scanning and indexing documents and transferring images to CDs.in accordance with the following STATEMENT OF WORK: 1.0 INTRODUCTION. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center San Diego (SSC SD) is engaged in an effort which requires SSC SD Comptroller Department to ensure that all accounting documents are scanned and converted to a electronic image. Successful accomplishment of this task will require technical experience with document scanning, document indexing and image/index conversion. 2.0 SCOPE. The specific scanning and indexing effort provides for on-site retrieval of the indexed images for audit and archive requirements. This specific effort will also require the conversion of existing Zyimage indexes and images to be imported into ApplicationXtender (OTG) system.3.0 TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS..This effort will encompass technical experience with indexing and image conversion, scanning, and exporting to CD for import process to OTG AplicationXtender 4.20.82. Documents provided will be scanned and indexed with OTG format. Image and index conversion will require exporting from Zyimage version 4.13 to ApplicationXtender version 4.20.82. 3.1 SCANNING. The contractor will scan all documents to be associated with appropriate index into a group tiff IV multi-tiff file format 3.2 ELECTRONIC INDEX. The contractor shall index documents to appropriate application fields created in ApplIcationXtender. There are 10 applications with each application requiring an average of 5 index fields 3.3 SHIPPING. The contractor is responsible for document pick-up from SSC-SD Comptroller Department. 3.4 EXPERTISE. The contractor is responsible for providing personnel with experience in the following area: ADP Skills. Personnel assigned to this task must possess skills with document scanning, indexing and data conversion. Software conversion: Personnel must have experience with Zyimage 4.13 and ApplicationXtender 4.20. 3.5 DELIVERABLES. The contractor shall be responsible for delivering a progress statement and provide indexes and images burned to CD for import process. Duplicate of each CD burned will also be provided. 4.0 GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIAL. SSC-SD Comptroller Department will provide all documents to be scanned and index in properly boxed containers. Copies of existing Zyimage CD's will be provided for image and index conversion. Application index filed names for indexing requirement conversion will be provided by government point of contact. 5.0 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE. It is expected that this task order will run for period of 12 months from date of inception. 5.1 PLACE OF PERFORMANCE. Work is to be performed at the contractor's site. 5.2 HOURS OF WORK.
