Description

Education Advisor. Andrews Air Force Base is intending to award a firm fixed price (FFP) Service Contract for education advisor, to advise active duty personnel on degree programs available through voluntary off-duty education, the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF), Defense Activity for non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES), Air force Institute of Advanced distributive Learning (AFIADL), and other educational support programs as required. This commercial acquisition will be accomplished in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. The contractor is expected to provide all management, supervision, labor personnel and any other items necessary to provide education advisors for the U.S. Air force voluntary off-duty education program, to include academic advisement, information and guidance plus preparation of documents associated with the services provided and administrative duties. The applicable North American Industrial classification System (NIACS) code is 61170. The period of performance will be for a one-year. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation notices and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading on the Government Electronic Posting System (EPs) site at www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies will be issued. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the aforementioned site regularly for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) at www.ccr2000.com. In accordance with FAR Clause 5.207(c)(2)(xv), all responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the Agency. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, it does not restrict the Government's ultimate approach, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
