Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance witht he format in Subpart 12.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issed. This solicitation is being issued by the USDA Forest Service as a Request for Quotations. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect rhough Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. One contract will be awarded based on responses to this solicitation. This solictation is 100% set aside for small business concerns -- NAICS Code 333924, Size std. 750 employees. This project is for furnishing and deliver FOB destination to Womble Ranger District, 1523 Hwy. 270 East, Mt. Ida, AR 71957, one trailer with the following salient characteristics: fixed, gooseneck w/84" min. swing clearance; 25 ton minimum capacity -- 30" beavertail with hydraulic ramp, 8' x 36" wide minimum; dual wheel, tandem axle with wheel well covers and mud flaps; brakes, air with automatic slack adjuster 12-1/4" x 7-1/2" minimum; deck -- width 8'-6", length 23'-0" minimum, wood 1' 1/2" thick; lash rings 8 total (4 per side); color-black; must meet all State of Arkansas and U.S. Dept. of Transportation lights and safety regulations. ETNYRE Model R25TL-T1 or equal. Delivery time -- 30 calendar days.
