Description

NASA/GSFC plans to issue a Request for Quote RFQ5-32704 for four hydraulic drive salt spreaders and kits. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 272104 and 500 EMPLOYEES. The DPAS Rating for this procurement is DOC9. The anticipated release date of RFQ5-32704-0000-946 is on or about 9/19/01 with an anticipated quote due date of on or about 10/19/01. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See NASA Specific Note "B". All quotations received from a Small Business will be considered.
