Description

NASA/GSFC plans to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ)5-32712 for one portable self-contained vacuum system with 800 gallon tank. Detailed specifications will be a part of the RFQ package. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 333319 and 500, respectively. The DPAS Rating for this procurement is DOC9. The anticipated release date of RFQ 5-32712-0000-946 is on or about 9/19/01 with an anticipated quote due date of on or about 10/19/01. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See NASA Specific Note "B".
