Description

Furnish 5100 cubic yards (965 English tons), hard durable particles or fragments of crushed stone or gravel conforming to the size and quality requirements for crushed aggregate material normally used locally in the construction and maintenance of highways by the State of Utah. Delivery will be in Ouray National Wildlife Refuge, that runs on the bluff above Leota Bottom and Johnson Bottom. Furnish crushed aggregate with a maximum size of 3/4" as determined by AASHTO T 27 and T 11. Furnish crushed aggregate uniformly graded from coarse to fine and free of organic material. The crushed aggregate shall be delivered in appropriate dump trucks to the auto tour route. Dump trucks, either bottom dump or Aten-wheel@ end dump, with a minimum 8 cubic meter capacity shall be required. Delivery of Crushed Aggregate will average between 40 m3 and 120 m3 per hour. Deliveries will only be accepted during the work week. The work week will consist of 8:00am Monday morning until 5:00pm Friday afternoon.
