NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE A BRAND NAME COMMERCIAL PURCHASE ORDER. This is combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation -- a written solicitation will not be issued. There is no solicitation number, for reference use PR Number W23BFK-1222-7002/W23BFK-1110-7002. Headquarters, US Army Intelligence & Security Command, Fort Belvoir, VA. is soliciting a brand name commercial item purchase order (under FAR Parts 12 and 13.5) with emerging small businesses. The proposed acquisition is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with emerging small business sources under the authority of FAR Part 13.106-1 and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) FAR 6.302-1. This action is for the purchase of: Spectrum Analyzer, Handheld, Mdl MS2711A, Frequency Range: 100 kHz to 3.0 GHz with Option 5(RF watt meter power monitor) Quantity: 13 Each. Delivery to: IMA, ACCT W23BFK/W23WBC, JENNIFER FARABEE, BLDG T2501 CHISHOLM AVE., FORT MEADE MD 20755-5315. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses that are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition.
