Description

The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), WESTHEM Computer Technology, Multi-Site Contracts and Midwest Area Commands Branch (DTS42) intends to issue a sole source contract to IBM Government Systems, 6710 Rockledge Drive, Bethesda, MD 20817. The acquisition of this software license and for maintenance renewal support is for product at the Defense Enterprise Computing Center (DECC) Montgomery. Software resides on CPU: UNISYS Clearpath Platform MF-IX5802-3, S/N 490976578. The software is proprietary and protected by copyright laws. The period of Performance is 01 Oct 01 through 30 Sep 02. The software maintenance renewal is for VisualAge/PacBase and its products: Dictionary; Dictionary Extensibility; Structured Code; Rename and Move Entity Utility; Subnetwork Comparison Utility; Production Env nterface; OLSD UNISYS 1100; DMD-DMS 1100; and 5 Additional Targets. Any party interested in receiving a copy of the solicitation shall provide written notice to the Contracting Office. Datafax requests to 618-229-9592 are acceptable. All responses from responsible sources will be considered for evaluating the award of the contract. No contract award will be made on the basis of quotations/proposal received in response to this notice, since this synopsis cannot be considered a request for Quotation/Proposal.
