Description

Subject announcement serves as Amendment 0004 to Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) DAAH01-01-R-TB01, previously published on 05 JUN 01. Subject BAA was issued in support of the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command's (USAAMCOM) requirement for the Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) Smart Tactical Rocket (MSTAR), to solicit proposals for research (or research ideas) for the demonstration of a munitions delivery system for the packaging and dispensing of smart munitions from the MLRS family of vehicles. This amendment is issued to provide clarification that the required 12 pitch type size, as referenced in the subject BAA, refers to a 12 point font size. See font size exception noted below. Additionally, proposal requirements are amended as follows: (1) pro prietary markings -- each page containing proprietary information must be clearly marked, e.g., via header or footer annotation; and, (2) spacing and font size requirements for figures, tables, and/or charts -- double-spacing and 12 point font size require ments are not applicable for text within figures, tables, or charts. Text within figures, tables, or charts may be single-spaced with no smaller than an 8 point font size. The closing date and time for receipt of offers remains 1:00 PM (Central Standard Time), 12 SEP 2001, as set forth in Amendment 0003 to the subject BAA. All information related to this BAA will be posted to the AMCOM Business Opportunity Website located at https://wwwproc.redstone.army.mil/current_business.html.
