Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate with Lamaze Institute for Family Education (Lamaze) on a sole source basis for the following: 1) direct delivery distribution of 945,000 leaflets regarding Enumeration At Birth in both English and Spanish languages to expectant mothers; and 2) the continuation of the Newborn Channel (broadcasted in hospitals nationally), which contains a Public Service Announcement (PSA) about Social Security. The Newborn Channel is owned by Lamaze, therefore, it is the only company that can show the PSA on this channel. Lamaze is the only known source that meets the above requirement and provide timely delivery. This is not a request for quotations or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation, but merely notification of the Government's intent to procure the above items from Lamaze. The Government will consider all information from responsible sources within 3 days after the date of publication of this synopsis. See numbered Note 22.
