Description

Contractor shall furnish all tools, fuels, lubricants, materials, equipment, labor and supervision necessary to perform grounds maintenance for Camp Chase Confederate Cemetery, 2900 Sullivant Avenue, Columbus, OH 43204 covering the period October 1, 2002 (or date of contract award, whichever is later) through September 30, 2002 (base period), with three (3) 1-year options to extend the term of the contract through September 30, 2005. Duties include: mowing, trimming, edging, clean-up -- trash debris within cemetery, renovate sunken graves, snow/ice removal, storm damage, leaf collection, turf maintenance -- overseed, granular fertilizer, herbicide application, headstones -- raise/align upright, headstones/markers -- cleaning and flying of flag. This acquisition is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. North American Industry Classification System (NCICS) 561730 and a size standard of 500 employees is applicable to this acquisition. All responsible small business concerns may submit a bid. Requests for hard copies of the solicitation must be in writing to Mrs. Janice E. Corlew and accompanied by a check or money order in the amount of Five Dollars ($5.00) (non-refundable) made payable to "U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs." No telephone requests will be accepted. Hard Copy solicitations will be mailed on or about September 7, 2001.
