DESCRIPTION: SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS, INCLUDING DRAWINGS, WILL BE AVAILABLE ON CD ONLY. The work be to be performed consists of upgrading the existing powerhouse elevators at Ice Harbor and Lower Granite Dams. The existing elevators are electric traction type elevators. Ice Harbor Elevator: 3500 lb. capacity, 350 FPM travel speed, 117.5 feet total travel height, serves 8 landings. Lower Granite Elevator: 4000 lb. capacity, 100 FPM travel speed, 155 feet total travel height, and serves 9 landings. Ite ms to be replaced or added include the following: hoist motor; hoist gear box; elevator brake; motor generator set; counterweights; hoistway cables; elevator electrical systems and wiring including the control cabinet, disconnect switch, motor feeders, an d all associated controls; hoistway door operators, hoistway door hangers, tracks, and rollers; and ADA compliant operating controls, handrails, and communications devises, and new hall call stations at each floor landing. Also included will be removal an d disposal of elevator components being replaced. This procurement is open to both large and small business concerns. The estimated cost range for this job is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 1796 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 235950. The small business size standard is average annual receipts for the previous three fiscal years must not exceed $11,500,000. Please indicate business size when you are responding.
