Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport intends to award a sole source contract to Bittware to provide components for two (2) Turn Key Integrated DSP Development Environment Systems. The components to be acquired must be completely compatible with systems previously developed by Northrop Grumman Corporation for use in the Broadband Sonar Analog Receiver (BSAR). Bittware has developed and is the only supplier for the key components of the development package (i.e., Hammerhead PCI Circuit Boards). These boards contain Bittware proprietary design and cannot be duplicated by another vendor. The components to be purchased are: SYSTEM 1 -- 3-Bittware Hammerhead PCI with 4 processors in the cluster, 64 Mbytes SDRAM, 6-Bittware Linkport cables, 1- VDSP++ Floating single user, Full up Visual DSP Software for 2106x (includes: IDE, debugger, compiler, assembler, linker, and simulator), 1-BittWare DSP21kTools and Target, 1-Eonic's(Wind River) Virtuoso Multiprocessor Standard Package 1st seat, 1-1.7 GHz P4 PC Windows 2000 Professional, 19 inch Monitor, 32 MB DDR NVIDIA Graphic Card or equivalent, 60 GB Hard Drive, Etherlink 10/100 PCI Controller, Keyboard and Mouse. SYSTEM 2 -- 3-Bittware Hammerhead PCI with 4 processors in the cluster, 64 Mbytes SDRAM, 4-Bittware Linkport cables, 1- VDSP++ Floating single user, Full up Visual DSP Software for 2106x (includes: IDE, debugger, compiler, assembler, linker, simulator), 1-Eonic's Virtuoso Multiprocessor Standard Package additional seat1-1.7 GHz P4 PC Windows 2000 Professional, 19 inch Monitor, 32 MB DDR NVIDIA Graphic Card or equivalent, 60 GB Hard DriveEtherlink 10/100 PCI Controller, Keyboard and Mouse. This is a sole source acquisition as authorized under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) Only One Responsible Source. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items will be utilized. Delivery F.O.B. Destination, Newport, RI. Any Company that believes it has the capability to meet the Government's minimum requirements is invited to submit a quote for Government evaluation.
