Description

Drydock Repairs to the NOAA Ship DAVID STARR JORDAN, a Class IV fisheries research vessel. Home port is in San Diego, California. Characteristics: welded steel hull, displacement of 933 tons and length of 171 feet. Work will include, but not be limited to: Shaft work, Rudder inspection, Cathodic Protection System, Installation of transducers, A Frame and J Frame Inspection, Galley exhaust cleaning and Overhaul port service generator. The anticipated notice to proceed is 19 November, 2001. The vessel will be available for inspection in San Diego, CA from October 3-4 2001.
