Description

This is a notice of contract action before an issuance of a commerical solicitation. Solicitation number N00168-02-T-0312 will be issued 17 September 2001 for the Armed Services Blood Bank Center, Bethesda, MD. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 811412. The small business size standard is $5.0 million. NNMC has a requirement for a preventive maintenance contract for various models of blood bank refrigerators, freezers and platelet incubators. Award will be made in the form of a SF1449 commercial purchase order for a base year effective from date of award through 30 September 2002 and four (4)option years. The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement. The Government may determine that an offer is unacceptable if the option prices are significantly unbalanced. Evaluation of options shall not obligate the Government to exercise the option(s).
