Description

THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for Commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number N68335-01-R-0394 is issued as a competitive request for proposal (RFP). The Naval Air Warfare Center Lakehurst is establishing multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements to provide Program Management Support Services for Aviation Support Equipment to assist the Naval Air Warfare Center Program Management Group on an as-needed basis in the following areas: Program acquisition management support services Program management support services for Program/Project Planning and Development. Program management support services for Program Management Analysis. Program management support services for Program/Project Control and Implementation. Program management support services for Program Coordination, Execution and Reporting. Program management support services for Automated Information Management Applications. The government reserves the right to rotate sources and issue orders valued at less than $550,000, under the BPAs established, without further competition. This synopsis serves as the entire solicitation. Interested firms should provide the following information: (1) Brief summary of past experience in these areas with particular emphasis on work performed for NAVAIR/NAWCAD Lakehurst and/or related to Program Management support services for Aviation Support Equipment (include project title and contract number) ;and (2) One typical resume Responses, which will include both the summary of past experience and the resume, should not exceed five pages. Evaluation criteria are as follows: Past performance on relevant projects (corporate and specific programs). Staff qualifications and experience with information technology tools as it relates to Program Management. Location of firm and knowledge of the above stated Program/Project areas. Once the BPA has been established, costs will be evaluated as part of each order. Firms should also indicate their size, status, and email address for a point of contact. Responses should be emailed to pazl@navair.navy.mil and received not later than October 5, 2001. BPAs based on this synopsis may be issued from the date of synopsis.
