Description

The U.S. Postal Service has a requirement for one (1) item of Hamper Assembly, Nestable, Twin Sheet, Thermoformed, Plastic (PSIN 1046P), manufactured in accordance with Postal drawings and specifications. This requirement will result in an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Minimum(22,780 ea)/Maximum(222,780 ea) contract for one 5-year period, and one 5-year unpriced option period. Approximately $2.8 million of USPS annual spend for Hamper Assemblies will be sourced through the FreeMarkets online global sourcing market. Submit an Solicitation Request Form, available by emailing CBE5163@freemarkets.com 2. Register at www.freemarkets.com 3. Review the solicitation package and submit a detailed Technical Proposal, to include items such as: Past performance Technical/management approach Quality Information Financial Statements 4. Be available to answer questions or participate in a site visit, if necessary between October 9-23 5. Participate in a free training session on FreeMarkets BidWare software 6. Accept the FreeMarkets Bidder Agreement 7. Participate in the interactive bidding event tentatively scheduled for October 30, 2001 This solicitation is scheduled for publication on September 19, 2001. Suppliers will receive a User ID and Password upon registration with FreeMarkets which will allow access to FreeMarkets secure web-site. Suppliers must download all pertinent solicitation information, drawings, and specifications necessary to prepare their Technical Proposals and competitive bids from the FreeMarkets secure web-site.
