Description

The U.S. army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC), Targets Product Office intends to enter into a noncompetitive contract with Alliant Techsystems Inc. to continue on-going work for propulsion technical assistance to the Strategic Target System (ST ARS) Program. The effort will continue on the support of providing propulsion technical assistance of the former Polaris A3 Motors and assistance in screening, refurbishing, and flight certifying these motors for STARS missions. Secret clearance will be re quired. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii) this action is a sole- source award to Alliant Techsystems Inc., P.O. Box 98, Magna, UT, 84044-0000. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. All response should be directed to SMDC-CM-AK/Gladys Erskine and must be received within fifteen (15) days from the date of this notice.
