Description

The U.S. Geological Survey intends to solicit and negotiate with the Institute of Ecology, University of Georgia, for the purchase of Geographic Information Services including the digitizing of existing fish collection records, incoporating phase one records with survey data from the Summer 2000 Species at Risk Survey, generating distribution maps and conducting an analysis of various physical attributes associated with distribution of imperiled and non-imperiled fishes. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY; NO COMPETITIVE RFQ WILL BE AVAILABLE. This award will be made on or about the 10th calendar day from the date this announcement appears. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 541370. Interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to respond. However, all responsible sources may submit a bid within ten days after the date of publication of this announcement which will be considered by the Government. A determination not to continue with this acquisition based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition.
