Description

The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, supervision, tools, materials, and equipment, necessary to perform Operation, Maintenance, Repair and Incidental Construction of DOD Army Medical Facilities Nationwide, including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. The proposed contract will be a single award for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract including a base year and four one-year options. The estimated value of the contract will be $10 million for the base year and $10 million for each option period, for a total estimated value of $50 million. Firm Fixed-Price Task Orders will be issued against the contract. The requirement is handled by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, Mobile, AL. Refer to document in request. Bid documents are available on or about 31 Oct 01 on the Internet only. This procurement is an UNRESTRICTED requirement. Registration should be completed one week prior to the issue date. All notifications of changes to this solicitation shall be made through the Internet only. Actual solicitation amendments will be issued either by fax or by posting for download to the aforementioned web page. The plans and specifications will be issued on the Internet only and will be provided free of charge. Plans and specifications will not be provided in a printed paper format; however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Government's best interest. All bid forms, bid bonds, and other normal documents required for the bid submittal, including amendments to the bid submittal, shall be in paper medium. Electronic medium for the bid submittal documents will not be allowed. Critical Path Method (Network Analysis System) is required. For this job, a small business is defined as having average annual receipts of less than $20,000,000 for the past three years. This solicitation includes bid options, which may not be awarded.
