Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking intersted sources to submit quotes for Optometry Non-Personal Services to be provided at the Federal Correctional Institution Located in Pekin, Illinois. The awarded contract will consist of a base year with two option years. The contractor will be required to provide four sessions per month, four hours in length to the inmate population. Quotes will be per session. Contractor will be required to have a license to practice optometry in the state of Illinois and to provide necessary documents for verifying professional credentials. Award of contract will be based on price with qualifications being met. The procurement will be set aside for small business concerns. The projected date for issuance of the soliciation is 09/20/01. The projected date for contract award will be 10/19/01. This will be a Commercial item acquisition in accordance with FAR Pt. 12.3.
