Description

This is a Synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format described in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561730 and the small business size standard is $5M. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued on www.herbb.hanscom.af.mil as a Request for Quote (RFQ), F19650-01-T-0057. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-27 dated June 25, 2001. This solicitation is for a base year (01 October 2001 -- 30 September 2002) and three one-year options (Option #1 -- 01 October 2002 -- 30 September 2003, Option #2 -- 01 October 2003 -- 30 September 2004, Option #3 -- 01 October 2004 -- 30 September 2005). The procurement is for Ground Maintenance for bldgs 1900 AFSC Clinic, and 1212 Public Health and Bioenvironmental Engineering located on Hanscom AFB as follows: This procurement consists of services for the clinic at Hanscom AFB, MA. Service will include but will not be limited to, maintenance, cutting, planting, and minor repairing of Government owned sprinkler system. The period of performance will be from 01 Oct 01 through 02 Sep 30 with three option years. The procurement will be a firm-fixed price simplified acquisition procedure using commercial practices. Responding firms will be asked to provide four references for past practice evaluation.
