Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons has a requirement for vocational training instruction contractor in the discipline area of Computer Technology to federal prisoners housed at the Federal Correctional Institution Elkton/Federal Satellite Low Elkton, located at Elkton, Ohio,. The program is to be provided on site. Services will be required for a one-year base period, with a possibility for four one-year option periods for a total of sixty months from the date of award. The Government intends to make a single award for this requirement. The estimated quantities for each twelve (12) month period of the contract are as follows: 250 one-hour sessions. Contractor instructor shall, at a minimum, have a High School Diploma and a working knowledfge of computer software programs and operations (demonstrated through past performance) . The solicitation will be available on or after September 28, 2001, and will be distributed through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available except in extreme circumstances AND only if issuance in this maner is determined to be in the Government's best interest.
