Description

The work consists of constructing a side approach road to provide access to U.S. Highway No. 24, and includes furnishing and placing fill material for the approach road and furnishing and installing corrugated steel pipe culvert. Work to be in accordance with State of Colorado, Department of Transportation (CDOT) standard specifications. The Leadville Mine Drainage Tunnel is situated approximately 1 mile northeast of Leadville, Colorado, in Lake County. The due date for the Request for Quotations (RFQ) is tentatively scheduled for October 5, 2001. All reasonable sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. This will be full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System code is 234110. The Standard Industrial Classification code is 1611. The small business size standard is $17.0 Million. To receive a copy of the RFQ, contractors shall fax a request to (406) 247-7798.
