Description

Notice of intent to award a sole source procurement with Insight Technology Inc. The Air National Guard, Fairchild AFB, WA intends to award a sole source purchase order to Insight technology Inc., 3 Technology Drive, Londonberry, NH 03053. This sole sou rce purchase will be for five (5) Medium Power Laser Indicator AN/PEQ-4, class 4 laser. With the following salient features -- Power Output=100mW-800mW. Beam Divergence: 1 mrad -- 3 degrees. Wavelength: 860+/- 10nm. Size: 9.25 x 2.25 x 2.25 inches. Weight ( w/6AA batteries): 456 grams. Weight (w/3 DL123): 376 grams. Pulse Rates: 2Hz, 5Hz, 10Hz, CW. Power Source: 3ea DL123 or 6 AA Batteries. Power Selectable: Low, Med, High. Adjustments: (Internal) 1mrad per click 1 degree from center. Waterproof: to 66 fe et. Environmental shock & vibration EMI/EMC: MIL-STD-810. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing compete information d escribing their ability to provide the medium power laser indicator. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the WA ANG not to open the requirement to open competition, based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the WA ANG. If no affirmative responses have been received in the office by Close of Business (COB) 21 September 01, a Sole source purchase order will be pursued with Insight Technology Inc.
