Description

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) intends to award a sole source contract to Data Security Inc., 729 Q Street, Lincoln, NE 68508. DISA has a requirement for one (1) National Security Agency (NSA) approved Cavity Degausser, Model Number HD-6000. The Degausser must operate at a level between 1500 and 3000 oersteds. The Cavity Degausser must not exceed space requirements in excess of 11 square feet or exceed 500 pounds. The Cavity Degausser must run on 120 volts. THIS REQUIREMENT IS FOR A BRAND NAME, SPECIFIC MAKE AND MODEL. This synopsis is a notice of intent to issue an award that is other than full and open competition and should not be considered a request for competitive quotations. The determination of the Government not to open this requirement to full and open competition was made IAW 6.302-1 and 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) 1 and is solely at the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by 18 Sep 01 or 8days following the publication of this notice no later than 2:00 p.m. EST to Costella H.
