Description

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), OC/OIRM, intends to purchase one (1) FCACCESS 1000/LGC Fibre Channel Analyzer, 1Gbps, Lunchbox, 1 GByte trace memory, copper GBICs and; one (1) OPF-FCA-1/2GB-FACAcess Trace Memory Upgrade from 1GB to 2GB in accordance with the following specifications: Analyzer for dual channel FCP SCSI using copper or 850 nm multimode optical media; portable unit with dual channels on single PCI card; minimum trace memory of 1 GB, upgradeable to 2GB; data acquisition rate >270 MB/sec, upgradeable to >540 MB/sec; all data captured and stored in native 10B format; hardware-assisted trace memory search; multiple data views of recorded channels, including side-by-side time-synchronized and interleaved; real-time LEDs driven from hardware to indicate link status; client/server architecture supporting multiple clients and multiple servers; Java-based client for host portability; three-year warranty. This requirment is anticipated to be made on a sole-source basis, therefor, no solicitation will result from this announcement. This announcement is for informational purposes.
