Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to competitively award a purchase order for maintenance of material handling equipment for the Logistics Division. Specific requirements will be available in the solicitation package. The period of performance will be twelve (12) months from the date of contract award, with the option to extend for four (4) 12-month periods. The NAICS code is 811310. The award will be made to one (1) vendor whose overall solicitation package proves to be best value to the Government. Factors to be considered to determine the best value will be experience, proposed maintenance plan and price. The solicitation NA1341-02-Q-0011, solicitation amendments, and all questions and answers related to the procurement will be made available via the internet at http://www.fedbizops.gov/. The solicitation is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or about 9/11/01 and will only be available via the internet at the above web site. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the web site. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant purchase order.
