Description

This is a notice of intent to negotiate with Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052 on an other than full and open competitive basis to purchase Base Premier Support. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. Included is updates/upgrades and technical support which is comprised of account manager hours, support IDs, remote supportability review, single server technet, msdn universal, supportability consulting and unlimited web access. The Government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Microsoft Corporation, which designed and developed these products and possesses proprietary restrictions. Services are to take place at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland for a Period of Performance of 01 Oct 2001 through 30 Sep 2002.
