Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate a sole-source agreement with The Aspen Wye Conference Center located in Queenstown, Maryland for the purpose of providing lodging (minimum of 25 guest rooms) and conference facilities for a conference to be attended by high-level international dignitaries. The facility must offer complete security and privacy for attendees; must be totally self-contained; and, must not be accessible to the general public. Facility must be located within close proximity to the SSA Headquarters in Woodlawn, Maryland to allow for daily travel for SSA staff. Facility must also be located within close proximity of an international airport. Facility must also offer some historic significance. See Note 22.
