Description

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization, Headquarters for the Supreme Allied Commander, Atlantic located in Norfolk, Virginia is accepting letters of interest from companies interested in receiving Request For Proposal (RFP) for the construction of a bronze statue to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Allied Commander, Atlantic. The statue will be a bronze, free standing, three dimensional, rendition of the NATO Star, approximately seven feet in height and width standing on a three-foot limestone pedestal. The NATO Star is a four-pointed star with angles along each center axis. The star also has a circle running inside from point to point and rays extending from each point. The construction will consist of fabrication and installation. Inquires will be provided artist renditions and dimensions. Request letters of interest be received via fax only to 757-445-3525 attention: Contracting Officer, Supreme Allied Commander, Atlantic by 4pm (EDT) 13 September 2001.
