Description

Services non-personal: Provide all labor, equipment, materials, & supervision necessary to provide Full Grounds Maintenance Services at Keesler AFB, MS, which encompasses the following: Mow, Edge, Trim, and perform Vegetation Control of Improved & Semi-Improved Grounds, Athletic Areas, and Airfield; Drainage Ditch Maintenance; Grounds Irrigation and Irrigation System Operation & Maintenance; Damaged Grass Area repair; Soil Aeration; Fertilization; Ant Identification & Control; Raking; Sidewalk/Troopwalk Vegetation Maintenance; Litter Patrol; Tree Maintenance/Trimming/Removal; Shrub/Hedge/Ground Cover/Vine Maintenance; Bed & Planted Area Maintenance; Perimeter Fence Maintenance; Playground Maintenance; Shrub Removal/Replacement; Unoccupied Military Family Housing Maintenance. Work is to be performed in strict accordance with the specifications and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. The basic period of performance is 01 Dec 01 through 30 Sep 02. Anticipated award date is 01 Dec 01. All responsible Small Business sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by this agency. This action is 100% set aside for Small Businesses (NAICS 56173/$5 Mil threshold; SIC 0782/$5 Mil threshold). Anticipated issue date of solicitation is 24 Sep 01. Solicitation will be electronically issued and may be accessed and downloaded at the following web address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued under Commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), and award will be made in the form of a firm fixed price contract. Subject to FY02 funds.
