Description

1. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written or electronic offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ F41636-01-T0084. This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The NAICS Code 333923. The size standard is 500 employees. FOB: Destination for delivery to Total Energy Plant, Building 4895, Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland AFB TX, 78236. The contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary to purchase, install and make operational a (6) six ton wireless remote overhead traveling bridge crane. Funding for this requirement is currently not available. Award of a contract will only be made upon availability of funds. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items, is applicable to this acquisition. Award will be made to responsible offeror based on lowest price, if funded. Quoters shall include with their quotes a completed copy of 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items.
