Description

The naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an Other Than Full and Open Competition basis from Structural Dynamics Research Corporation (SDRC), 2000 Eastman Drive, Milford, OH, 45150-2712 one year of software maintenance for SDRC's I-DEAS software product. This procurement would include software maintenance for the following modules: I-DEAS A001 Core mater Modeler (8 users); I-DEAS A002 core Drafting (1 user); I-DEAS A003 Surfacing Set (3 users); I-DEAS A004 Assembly Set (2 users); I-DEAS A009 I-DEAS Simulation Modeling (6 users); I-DEAS A010 I-DEAS Simulation Solution (3 users); I-DEAS A060 TMG Radiation (1 user); I-DEAS A061 TMG Thermal (2 users); I-DEAS A086 Material Data Catalogue (1 user); I-DEAS A102 ProEngineer Solids (1 user); I-DEAS A107 ABAQUS Data Translator (1 user); I-DEAS A108 ANSYS Data Translator (1 user); I-DEAS A110 MSC NASTRAN Data Translator (1 user); I-DEAS A145 Response Analysis (1 user); I-DEAS A172 Mechanism Design (1 user); I-DEAS A646 VRML Annotation (1 user); I-DEAS A801 I-DEAS Update Training (1 user). The rationale for this sole-source is that this software is proprietary to SDRC. Responsible firm's believing they can provide the above, should submit a written response to the Contracting Officer on or before 14 September 01, providing detailed information clearly showing their ability to do so without causing programmatic hardship to the program.
