Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) , Federal Grain Inspection Service (FGIS), Technical Center, 10383 North Ambassador Drive, Kansas City, MO. 64153 intends to issue a sole source purchase order with Foss North America for one Graincheck 2312 System. The proposed contract action is for equipment the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. The NAICS code is 339111. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as commercial item acquisition regulations per FAR 12.
