Description

The Umatilla National Forest is soliciting quotes for potential vegetation determination of specific forested and non-forested vegatation polygons. The purpose of the project is to ground truth the accuracy and amend as needed the present potential vegetation Map/GIS layer currently being utilized by the Umatilla National Forest. Contractor will identify and map in the field, plant associations for selected areas within the boundaries of the Umatilla National Forest. Potential project areas are located within the boundaries of the Walla Walla and Pomeroy Ranger Districts. This project is being funded with specialized funds referred to as "Demo Money". This type of funding allows the Government to give priority in the selection process to local contractors. This is a multiple year "Indefinite Quantites" type contract.
