Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Allstar Fire Equipment for 42 sets of Orange County Specification Turn-Out Coats and 42 sets of Orange County Specification Turn-Out Pants using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition. Contractor will provide initial issue of 42 sets of customized Lion Apparel Turn-Outs and maintain stock of Orange County Specification Turn-Outs with a three day replacement guarantee. The anticipated award is 28 Sep 01. This is a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. No solicitations or RFQ will be forthcoming. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit product information in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely in the discretion of the Government. All responses must be received by COB September 18, 2001. If no responses are received by this date, a sole source purchase order with Allstar Fire Equipment will be pursued. The POC for this notice is Therese G.
