Description

The Kansas Air National Guard, Forbes Field, Topeka, Kansas requires construction services to convert approximately 10,200 square feet of existing maintenance shop/storage space in Building 668 into a Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL) facil ity. The new area will include electronic lab space as well as offices, storage, library, etc. Work will include some interior demolition in the existing structure. New work will include construction of walls, installation of new ceilings, floor coverings, doors, windows, etc. Special electrical features will be installed within the laboratory spaces. New mechanical equipment is to be furnished and installed, complete with control systems to meet stringent humidity and temperature requirements. Control syst ems will also be installed on existing HVAC equipment to remain. Approximately 1000 square feet of new space will be added to the existing facility. The addition will be primarily masonry construction. A portion of the existing facility must remain in oper ation during the construction. The magnitude of this project is estimated not to exceed $2,000,000.00. This solicitation contains three (3) options and they will be evlauated in accordance with FAR 52.217-3. All responsible sources may submit proposals whi ch will be considered. Solicitation No. DAHA14-01-R-4008. This solicitation is solicited under NAICS Code 233310 and is unrestricted.
