Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number MDA412-01-Q-0031 is being issued as a Request for Quotation and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This solicitation is for NAICS codes 334199 and 541511. The components will be used by Department of Defense Dependents Schools in Italy to provide keyboarding instruction at the elementary schools. The following line items (CLIN) are required and the descriptions of the items can be found at www.alphasmart.com: (CLIN 0001) Alpha Smart 3000 rechargeable smart option classroom bundle with PC cables or Pods (stock number: SBD-PAS30-RC or equal), QTY 10 bundles (one for each school). (CLIN 0002) Keywords SmartApplet Lab Pack licensed for use on up to 35 Alpha Smarts (stock number: SMT-KW11LB or equal), QTY 10 each (one for each school). (CLIN 0003) Pre-installation of keywords SmartApplet for any classroom bundle of 30 units (stock number: INS-KW30 or equal), QTY 10 each (one for each school). (CLIN 0004) Carrying Cases (5 per school) (stock number: STR-CC03 or equal), QTY 50 each.
