Description

"Army Residential Communities Initiative (RCI) Industry Forum in Atlanta, Georgia" The office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Installations and Environment has tentative plans to host an RCI Industry Forum on October 23, 2001 in Atlanta, Georgia. The Forum will focus on the upcoming RCI projects proposed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina; Fort Campbell, Kentucky; Fort Stewart / Hunter Army Airfield (HAAF), Georgia; and Fort Polk, Louisiana. Through the RCI, the Army is partnering with private developers to revitalize and manage the Army's family housing into modern residential communities for soldiers and their families. The event will provide an overview of the RCI program, an outline of the two-step Request for Qualifications (RFQ) procurement process, and presentations from each of the four installations. The forum is tentatively scheduled to be from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 23, 2001, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel (Airport) in Atlanta, Georgia.
