Description
Solicitation (RFQ) Number: N00189-01-T-1039 DESCRIPTION: The Government intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Priced Purchase Order for various patrol car parts as required by The Public Safety Department, Rota, Spain. Specifications and delivery requirements for the required contract line items will be detailed in the solicitation. The Government intends to award under other than full and open competition to Galls Incorporated. North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 44131 (Standard Industrial Code (SIC) equivalent is 5013) and FSC Code 5855 takes precedence for the subject requirement. The solicitation number for this procurement is N00189-01-T-1039 and is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5 -- Test program for certain Commercial Items (Clinger-Cohen). A complete RFQ package will be available on or about 14 September 2001 by downloading the documents at the Neco Website as follows: http://neco.navy.mil. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a proposal, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
