Description

The Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Kay Elemetrics Corp, of Lincoln Park NJ to furnish a Model 7200 Digital Swallowing Work Station and required components for the Chicago Health Care System, Lakeside Division, Chicago IL. NAICS: 339112. Equipment will include a Model 7245 Digital Video Module, Laryngeal Microphone, Isolation Transformer, Two-Channel surface EMG, and Scan Converter. The Government believes that the Model 7200 is the only equipment, which has the ability to use EMG, respiratory phase and tongue array signals with videofluoroscopy. The link of the signals and respiratory to the fluoroscopy is required as well as the equipment being time linked and synchronized with the video. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes however; responses received within seven (7) calendar days of the date of publication of this synopsis will be evaluated. This purchase will be done under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1. Any firm that believes it can furnish the items described above may give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements.
