F41636-01-TC-0543 POC: Nancy Marshall/210-671-1766/fax 210-671-1199 nancy.marshall@lackland.af.mil DESC: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This purchase is set-aside for 100 percent small business. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). Submit written quotes (oral quotes/offers will not be considered), on requisition F41636-01-TC-0543, to fax number (210-671-1199).=20 This requirement is for: 1. 262 EA Model 2418-14HB Renasissance Chair with seat and back. 2. Installation Includes: Upholstered seats and backs, aisle and center standards, armrests, decorative end treatment and self-lifting seats that raise to a uniform position. All chairs to be mounted on wooden platforms with 1 ? screws. There shall be four wheelchair spaces provided in compliance with ADA requirements. Outer backs constructed of one-piece injection molded plastic to form to provide and upholstery collar and trim protection in a 35? height. Shell pads with foam backing. Armrests should be molded plastic arms, no fabric. Riser mounting, folding tablet arms, numbering and lettering system.=20 Delivery is to be within 30 days of award, to FOB destination Lackland NCO Academy, Bldg. 10634 Lackland, AFB TX 78236. This solicitation document incorporates provision and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27, Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 5713. Note that the provisions at FAR 52.212-1, instructions to offerors ? Commercial terms, applies to this acquisition. In addition the clauses at, FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and conditions required to implement Statutes or executive orders?Commercial Items, apply to this solicitation. Specifically the following clauses cited are applicable: FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; FAR 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Special Disabled and Vietnam Era Veterans; FAR 52.222.36; Affirmative Action for the Handicapped Workers. The clause at DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement Statutes or Executive Orders applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Specifically the following clauses cited are also applicable: DFARS 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program. Offerors must include with their offers a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certification ? Commercial Items (Apr 2001), and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offerors Representations and Certification?Commercial Items. Also applicable by reference is DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contracting Registration (CCR). The FAR and DFARS publications can be accessed via the internet http://farsite.hill.af.mil/ . The CCR can be obtained by calling 1-888-227-2423 or internet www.ccr2000.com . Confirmation of CCR registration must be obtained before award can be made.
