Description

The INL Bureau is requesting offers for the purchase of some personal field gear items to be exported to South America. This procurement is a small business set aside. The items required (and some of them are brand name or equal) include the following:(quantities are substantial but exact number is undetermined at this time), Knife, Leatherman, multiuse, Mackate, Jungle with sheath, Eye protectors, tactical C bolle, Parachute 100 feet long with Cord 550, Cord bungee, Knife, Combat M-9, Miniflight w/IR Adaptor, Automatic or manual Life saver vest, Stick, Camoflage, Tape, Green 100 MPH, Camelback Water System, Hammock, Jungle, Stove, Field, individual Play, hearing protection, net, camoflage individual. These items are URGENTLY REQUIRED. The Government will make an award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the requirements of the User, and is most advantageous to the Govt. that which represents the Best Value to the Govt. All offers will be evaluated also for delivery time ARO and cost/price. The proposed cost or price must be reasonable and reflect technical requirements. The Govt. may award to other than the lowest priced offer. Vendors will be expected to ship the items by express mail directly to the final destination in South America, if the size and weight of the items permit. Estimated shipping costs and insurance costs may be included as a separate line item in the offer and actual shipping costs may be invoiced to the Government after shipment. Note that all offers must be received by the Contracting Officer at telefax #202-776-8686, no later than 4:00 PM, EST on September 21, 2001.
