Description

This synopsis announces that an amendment to the already-posted solicitation DTMA1R01019 will be issued shortly to add options to provide training at the following outport locations: New Orleans, LA, Houston, TX, Charleston, SC, Baltimore, MD, Long Beach, CA, Alameda, CA, Tacoma, WA. These outport sites may be ordered in lieu of one or more training sessions at the reserve fleet sites. The contractor will be required to arrange with an Oil Spill Response Organization or other entity to provide boom and necessary water transportation to deploy the boom at the outport locations and if necessary transport trainees to observe the booming. As a result of the amendment, the due date for proposals is being extended. Potential offerors should check the web site www.fedbizopps.com and download the amendment when posted. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
