Description

Sources sought for qualified firms that can provide firework storage, retrieval and disposal services. Services to be provided include: (1) Storage in an approved facility meeting all federal and state requirements, for a minimum of 1,300 cubic feet and up to a maximum of 13,000 cubic feet of 1.4g and 1.3g fireworks; (2) The storage facility shall be highly secure with alarms; (3) Access to the storage facility by approved CPSC employees, as required; (4) Disposal of 1.4g and 1.3g fireworks in a manner that meets all federal and state requirements. The Contractors facility shall be located within a 100 mile radius of CPSC headquarters in Bethesda Maryland for the purpose of staff access to the fireworks. When responding to this announcement, in addition to standard capabilities information, provide the following information: (1) Firms experience: an outline of previous projects, specific work previously performed or being performed similar to work required herein; (2) personnel: name, qualifications, specific experience of personnel that may be assigned as project officer; (3) facilities: availability and description of contractors special facilities to perform work as required. A statement regarding insurance levels. A statement by the Contractor, certifying as to its ability to comply with all state and federal requirements. Any other specific and pertinent information as pertains to the requirement described above that would enhance our consideration and evaluation of the information submitted.
