Description

Correction: This action originally publicized in the CBD dated 9/12/01 is corrected as follows: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N68836-01-T-0258 applies and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This solicitation is issued on an unrestricted basis, NAICS Code 332420. The Naval Station Mayport Environmental Office has a requirement for the repair and installation of an F-111 Special fuel reclaim system in accordance with the following statement of work: Replace the control panel and all internal devices, lights and switches, replace the 15 GPPM pump and motor assembly, all solenoid and relief valves, any rusted piping and fittings. Contractor will also have to disassemble the unit, remove existing components (not welded to the deck), shot blast entire skid to remove all existing paint and rust, repaint the entire skid, re-assemble all the components back on the skid, test for leaks and performance. Work will be accomplished at NS Mayport and at contractor's site. The following provisions and clauses apply: Provision 52.252-1 Solicitation Provisions Incorporated by Reference. Upon request, the Contracting Officer will make their full text available.
