Description

The VA Medical Center provides software training for employees as part of an office automation initiative. Specific training is conducted for the various software packages, i.e., Windows NT 4.0, Word and Excel (Intermediate and Advanced levels), Publisher, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook. The VA provides training space, currently located within the VA Medical Center, 1601 SW Archer Road, Gainesville, Florida. The number of participants for each introductory class is limited to a maximum of ten (10). The computers and projection system is provided by VAMC. The contractor will provide a training guide, book, or handout for each participant at the time of training and a certificate upon completion. Any materials not used will be returned to the instructor for use in the next class. The instructor will take attendance and have evaluation forms completed by each participant. This procurement is 100% Set-aside for Small Businesses. All responsible sources may submit an offer. Requests for a copy of the solicitation must be in writing, or requested through email, Marilyn.Gray@med.va.gov or faxed to the Contracting Officer at (352) 379-7437. Services are required in October and end 9/30/02 with one optional year for renewal. This solicitation is issued in accordance with the commercial item format in FAR 12.303.
