Description

Lackland AFB intends to issue a commercial purchase order to MGR Equipment Corp., for the acquisition of services to test, troubleshoot, and repair 10 each C5A refrigerators, Part number #EGR-74-434. The services will require upgrading to 134a Freon (replacing motor/compressor); replacing doors; installing recirculating fans, trays and shelves; performing minor repairs; and will include the shipment from the repair facility. The statutory authority for this requirement is 10 USC 2304(c)(1). Only one responsible source and no other supply or service will satisfy agency requirements as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. MGR Equipment Corp., is the original equipment manufacturer and repair company for C5A refrigerators. No solicitation will be posted for this acquisition. This notice is not a request for quote.
