Description

Procurement of five (5) Hiab Boom Crane assemblies, P/Ns 026T-A205, B5-OS, 500-536, for the Pioneer Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis with Cargotec, Inc. Cargotec, Inc. is the Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM) and is the only known authorized importer of this equipment. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1; only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The contract will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated award date is 26 September 2001. See Note 26.
